👋 Welcome! I’m genuinely blown away by the interest so far—this first edition is reaching way more people than I expected. So, thank you for signing up!

I was up late last night putting together what I hope to be a seriously impressive list of events (over 60!) to help you make the most of the week ahead. But this is just the beginning. I’ve got big plans for where this newsletter could go. I want it to be more than just a list—I want it to be a community of people who love supporting Liverpool’s independents and discovering new, interesting things to do.

Liverpool’s Chinatown is the oldest in Europe, with roots going back to the 1830s when Chinese sailors settled here after arriving through the city’s busy docks. You’ve probably walked past the Chinese Arch plenty of times, but it’s actually the largest of its kind outside China (and the largest in Europe), standing at 13.5m (44ft) tall!
