The Liverpool European Festival is Back
And Bigger Than Before!

Liverpool European Festival is back this May and June, and this year it’s bigger than ever. More than 40 events will celebrate the cultures, communities and traditions that help make Liverpool such a vibrant city.

The launch event is on Saturday 9 May at St Luke’s Bombed Out Church, followed by a parade through the city centre on Sunday 10 May. After that, expect Italian bike rides, Swedish Midsummer celebrations, Ukrainian dance, live music, great food and plenty more across the weeks ahead.

There are firsts this year too, with events happening beyond Liverpool for the first time and major cultural partners joining in, including Liverpool Philharmonic, Open Eye Gallery and National Museums Liverpool.

Most events are free, family-friendly and open to everyone.
