Tate Liverpool has announced a major new display dedicated to influential American artist Ed Ruscha, opening next spring. ARTIST ROOMS: Ed Ruscha will be presented across Tate Liverpool + RIBA North from 12 February to 14 June 2026, showcasing a rich selection of the artist’s books, photographs, paintings, drawings, and lithographs.

The Liverpool Craft Brew Festival is set to return this winter with A Hoppy Christmas Party — a festive edition of its popular event series taking place on Saturday 22 November 2025 at Invisible Wind Factory.

The Wheelbarrow, nestled beside Greenbank Sports Academy, is transforming into a festive haven this Christmas with an exciting line-up of seasonal events. A beloved Christmas tradition for tens of thousands of families, Light Before Christmas makes its return to Liverpool Cathedral from 28 November to 6 December. Adding a new dimension this year, the entrance to the light show will feature festive artwork created by pupils from over 30 schools as part of a city-wide art project initiated by the Cathedral.

Produced by Blackeyed Theatre and adapted by Nick Lane, Sherlock Holmes: The Hunt for Moriarty at Shakespeare North Playhouse is a crowd-pleasing, well-paced night of theatre that serves both brain and heart.
